Obituary
Marion Wiggins was born in Meskanaw, Saskatchewan in 1924 to parents Alex and Flora Fidler. She was raised in Kinistino, Saskatchewan with her seven siblings.
Marion spent all her life in Kinistino, apart from her time spent in the Canadian Armed Forces during World War II, stationed in Ottawa. After her discharge Marion took a job at the Alberta Wheat Pool in Calgary and eventually made her way back home to Kinistino to work at the Swen Café where she was able to form many great friendships that would last a lifetime.
Marion was active in the community, being involved in the woman’s auxiliary at the Anglican Church, enjoying her curling and helping billet Kinistino Tiger hockey players which she loved very dearly.
Another passion for Marion was spending many summers at the trailer on Emma Lake making great memories with friends and family.
Marion leaves to mourn her three sons Jim (Cathy), Bill (Joan) and Tim (Cheryl) along with siblings Lucile (Carl), Joy (Bill) and Dean. She will also be greatly missed by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Marion was predeceased by her parents Alex and Flora Fidler, husband Bob Wiggins, son Bud Wiggins and siblings Ethel Kurtz, Arthur Fidler, John Fidler and Gordon Fidler.
Marion will be sadly missed by many extended family and friends; however we all know she would want you to remember the good times and great memories you would have shared with her over the years.
Memorial contributions in memory of Marion may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society.
