Obituary
Debbie Florence Hentges, age 54, was surrounded by her children when she lost her long battle with cancer on September 9, 2018 at Melfort Hospital.
She was born in McBride, B.C. to Larry Hentges and Anne McFarland on August 27, 1964. She moved to Spalding in early childhood. She welcomed her first daughter in 1986, followed by a son a few years later. She was remarried to Richard Dauk and they welcomed two more children to the family; a daughter and son. Her children were her pride and joy (who took up most of her time), but when she did have a free moment, she loved gardening, crafting and playing Scrabble. Eight years ago, Debbie became a grandmother. As long as she had her grandbabies, her heart was full. They were her world and she was theirs.
She will be forever missed by her kids; daughter Nicole (Michael) Loyns and granddaughters Sophia and Ivy; son Richard Bussiere; daughter Sydney Dauk (Lucas Moore) and grandson Asher; and son Jonathan Dauk, as well as her parents; Larry and Anne, brothers; Rick and David, and many other family and friends; especially Bonnie Cross, her angel who helped her through the most difficult time in her life. She was predeceased by her brother, Bobby, and her grandmother, Flo.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the hospital for their love and support during these past few months.
Debbie has requested to have an intimate gathering to lay her to rest with her brother.
Memorial contributions in memory of Deborah may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society.
