Obituary
Beryl was born March 29, 1935 to Frank and Irene Simms, in the small village of Arnstein, Ontario the oldest of six children. Four sisters and one brother.
She attended elementary school in Arnstein to grade 8 and high school in Port Loring.
She was born again May 7, 1947 at the age of twelve, finding great joy in the fact of sins forgiven eternally. She was baptised in 1949 in Sea Gull Lake in Arnstein and received into fellowship on Christmas Day the same year.
Beryl went to Toronto in 1951 to find work. She did office work and took several business courses.
In 1966 she took a holiday to Calgary and the west coast. She very much enjoyed Calgary and returned a couple years later to work. While there she became friendly with some of the Taylorside folk working there. Having met Verna and Gary Seale in Toronto she spent a lot of time with them, and when Verna’s cousin Wayne came to visit she met him in their home.
Beryl returned to Toronto in December 1970 and they corresponded and on April 4, 1972 they were married.
Beryl became a Farmer’s wife and enjoyed gardening and the farming life. In the fall of 2008 they moved to Melfort.
In the past few years her health failed and she passed into the presence of her Lord on March 25, 2022.
She was predeceased by her father, mother and sister. Her father and mother-in-law.
She leaves behind her husband Wayne, her brother Peter (Marlene) and sisters Nelda, Eleanor and Sheila, brother-in-law Jim (April), four nephews, one niece and several great and great great nieces and nephews.
