Lois was the fifth child of six children born to Stanley & Beatrice Cann on August 12, 1940 at Leviathin homestead, east of Pleasantdale, SK. She took her schooling at Leviathin. She then met John Gerski at a dance in Pleasantdale and married him on July 16, 1960. Together they farmed and raised a family of six children in the Resource district. Gary, Glen, Garnet, George, Brenda and Bonnie. Lois enjoyed her gardening, her flowers, baking, scrapbooking, coffee and visiting with family, friends and neighbors. She was always lending a helping hand where ever she could. In her spare time she enjoyed soap operas, crosswords and her cats. She always loved spending time with her grandchildren. We will always remember her smile in her memory to recall family history. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Gary (Dawn) of Melfort, Glen of Melfort, Garnet of Melfort, George (Lori) of Vermilion AB, Brenda of Melfort and Bonnie (Walter) Pacholko of Bentley, AB. Her siblings; Fred, Joyce, Ruth, Lawrence and Scott. Her grandchildren Michael (Amanda), Breanna, Bailey, Jessie-Lynn, Tyler, Ryan, Jon-Luc, Jasmine, Victoria and Stephanie. Great grandchildren Jordan, Josh, Tyson, Lexus and Katana. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1982, her parents Stanley & Beatrice Cann.
