Gerry, as he was known to family and friends, was born and raised at Regina Beach. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Agnes McKay, of Regina Beach. He was also predeceased by brothers Wilfred, Benjamin, and Clarence and sisters Alice Klyne-Guthrie and Dorothy Brough. He is survived by brothers Samuel and Vincent of Regina and sister Norma McHenry, Banff, AB. He is also survived by sons, Larry, of Regina; Ward and his children Lindsey and Travis of Birch Hills; a daughter Leanne and her children, Damien, Joe, Ayla, Tori and Mando, and several nieces and nephews. Other special people in his life are grandson, Walter Foreman of Seoul, South Korea and foster daughter Erin Gessnier. Gerry was in the trucking and furniture moving business most of his working years but his greatest pleasure came when he was in the great outdoors. He loved taking his grandkids for horseback rides, hayrides and especially trail rides. He was well known, well liked and well respected on the trail ride circuit. He also greatly enjoyed visiting with his friends on coffee row, discussing and resolving all the world’s problems! Funeral Service to be announced.
