Obituary of Carole Ann Armstrong
Carole Ann Campbell (Armstrong) was born on May 20, 1940 in Carrot River, Saskatchewan. The family moved to Melfort when she was five years old and attended school at the Sweet Water Creek School until grade 4, then she attended Broadway School in Melfort. After her schooling Carole attended Covenant Bible College in Prince Albert, Sask.
On June 30, 1961 she married Murry Armstrong and they resided in Melfort where they were blessed with the birth of their son Doug July 25, 1967.
Carole worked at the Christian Supply store, Home Hardware and was a very successful consultant with Avon for many many years.
She enjoyed her trips to Branson, San Francisco, Vegas, Maritimes, Alaska and a family trip to Disney World, which she reminisced about often. She was a member and very involved in the Melfort Evangelical Covenant Church, a member of the Melfort Ag Society and a season ticket holder of the Melfort Mustangs for numerous years.
Her nieces and nephews became her honorary grandchildren and meant a lot to her.
Carole always met life’s challenges with determination and grace.
Left to cherish her memories are her son Doug (Gillian and Brianna). Her siblings Ken (Grace) Campbell, Don (Val) Campbell, Jean (Dale) Gordon, John (Donelda) Campbell, Doug (Vivian) Campbell, Donna (Ross) Spratt, Ruth (Rick) Nordstrom. Numerous honorary grandchildren ( nieces and nephews) along with many close friends and caregivers.
Carole was predeceased by her husband Murry and her parents Gordon and Inez Campbell.
