Obituary
Emeril was the third of seven children born to Emery and Madeleine Robert in Domremy Saskatchewan. He was an excellent student and completed his grade 12 at Domremy school.
On October 25, 1954, Emeril married Denise Ethier from St. Isidore de Bellevue. They moved to St. Brieux in the fall of 1954 where they made their forever home.
Emeril was a farmer, a carpenter and a very community minded person. He volunteered endless hours working with minor hockey, the fire department, the St. Brieux golf course and the St. Brieux Senior’s Centre. He also did minor services and maintenance for the church whenever necessary. Emeril could always be counted on to lend a hand whenever a hand was needed.
Emeril was a dedicated member of the Knight’s of Columbus. In 1992, he was awarded a 40 year plaque for loyal and faithful service.
When Emeril wasn’t busy volunteering his services, he enjoyed many different hobbies. He especially loved fishing, golfing, bowling, dancing with Denise and playing cards with his friends.
Emeril was a quiet, gentle and humble man. He never expected recognition or praise. He was generous with his time and talents. Emeril was a "get it done" kind of guy who liked to get things done quickly and correctly. He never complained and appreciated every kindness offered him. He is much loved and will be greatly missed by many.
Emeril is survived by his youngest brother, Arsene (Denise) Robert, his sister-in-law Beatrice Trumier, numerous nieces and nephews and, many many Very Special friends.
